Some days you just want to eat fried goods and hella bread. Which is fine. Because those things are delicious.
I’m going to try very very very hard to get up at 5 o’clock tomorrow morning to go to the Body Pump class I haven’t been to in a month or so. I’m in desperate need of some toning.
I talked a bit tonight with my Bostonian friend about training to go hiking in the mountains of Maine this fall.
Actually, I told her that I wanted to go on a long trip alone to do some soul searching, but was afraid of compound fractures, and dying of hypothermia.
She said she would hike, and that we should go to Maine, but I should start training. (i’m sure it’s the way my eyes bugged out of my head on that staircase in Lapham that has her spooked. understandable.)
I asked, “How do I train for something like that?”
“Uhh.. Go hiking?” She replied.
I’m going to have to work very hard on my lowers. Mah quads. Mah delts. (no?)
Just walking every day, hiking when I can, and doing this weight lifting thing for the next few months should totally do it.
MAINE. I have always wanted to go.
I’d like to really explore that whole side of the country, actually. Even exploring the area around where I live is a daunting task.. There’s so much!
SETH WAS ON MY FRONT PORCH WHEN I GOT HOME TONIGHT.

He came in a super sexy black case.. He’s heavy, and sleek.. And he came with a hood. (squee)
I’m hopefully going to the Boerner Botanical Gardens in the afternoon tomorrow. They have a list of what’s in bloom.. Roses, among others. Roses are really.. I do love roses.
